Attack on Bannu Cantonment

During a daring assault, eight members of the Pakistan Army were killed when security forces successfully prevented a terrorist attack at the Bannu Cantonment. The military forces eliminated the 10 militants.

The ISPR reported that a total of 10 terrorists were eliminated during an attack when they attempted to forcibly enter Bannu Cantonment. This act of terrorism specifically targeted the military in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a region that has experienced a significant increase in violent incidents.

According to a statement, eight soldiers were killed in the terrorist attack. The statement also highlighted that the prompt response of the security forces prevented significant damage and loss of life.

The ISPR characterized the reaction of the security forces as a courageous and determined response, which they stated was a demonstration of the military’s commitment to combat terrorism.
