LESCO close down matrix stations, power supply suspended in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has closed down matrix stations in Lahore as thick haze grasped the city and different parts of Punjab on Friday.

The power supply was suspended around 11:00pm on Thursday, diving the entire region into dimness.

In January this year, the mist had brought about Lahore’s 220KV lattice stations to outing, leaving most parts of the city without power.

Early morning, the haze made it troublesome for the drivers even to move a couple meters as the perceivability was poor to the point that they needed to switch on headlights.
