A high-level review meeting on Islamabad’s law and order situation was convened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who emphasized that no one will be permitted to disturb the nation’s quickly stabilizing economy by causing disorder.
In response to recent vandalism, destruction of private and public property, and unrest in Islamabad, the prime minister ordered authorities to take strong measures against those responsible. He emphasized the need to avoid arresting innocent bystanders while cracking down on offenders.
The prime minister directed the task force to use every resource at its disposal in order to successfully identify and combat individuals causing disorder. Additionally, he ordered that the Federal Prosecution Service be incorporated into the Ministry of Law.
In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed that the required money be released that the Islamabad Jail project be completed immediately. Despite major setbacks since its start, the project is anticipated to be finished by March of next year ¹.
The group was briefed on the extension of Islamabad’s safe city project, which includes installing more cameras to improve security.
