Among other things, the Agreement, which was signed on December 31, 1988, stipulates that on January 1 of every year, both nations must notify one another of any nuclear installations and facilities that fall under its purview.

As a result, a representative of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was formally given the list of nuclear installations and facilities in Pakistan.

At the same time, a representative of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi received the list of India’s nuclear installations and facilities from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
