In fostering religious unity and protecting the rights of minorities, a ministerial committee meeting led by Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Prime Minister’s advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sana Ullah, has made notable strides.
Finalizing the national commission for minorities law 2024 and examining interfaith peace and religious tolerance policies were the main agenda items for the conference.
The committee directed the ministry of religious affairs and interfaith harmony to include the subcommittee’s suggestions into the interfaith harmony and religious tolerance policies before presenting them to the federal cabinet for final approval.
Through legislative and policy actions, the committee reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting minority rights and promoting religious harmony.
