The government’s position against such targeted violence, especially against representatives of the Pakistani High Commission, was reiterated by spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in an address to the media.
Qazi Faiz Isa was honored and elected as a bencher at Middle Temple, a renowned legal institution in the United Kingdom, just before the attack. As he was leaving the event, his car was attacked by a group of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members who were protesting outside.
Baloch underlined that the government is committed to ensuring justice for the attack on Qazi Faiz Isa and the High Commission’s car, and that the Interior Minister had given a thorough statement on the incident.
