The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has reduced the power tariff by 1.275 rupees per unit for the fuel price adjustment of September.

NEPRA announced a notification regarding the tariff reduction for September due to gasoline price adjustments.

The central power purchasing agency sought a decrease of 71 paisa per unit, which NEPRA examined during a public hearing on October 30, 2024.

The gasoline costs adjustment in August decreased the price per unit by 86 paisa.

NEPRA indicated that this modification pertains to consumers of all distribution firms, excluding lifeline users, prepaid customers, and electric car charging stations, and will not affect K-Electric consumers.
