Corps Commanders Conference

Corps Commanders have vowed to use all available state resources to combat terrorists, as well as those who assist and abet them in their efforts to destabilise Pakistan at the request of enemy forces.

The decision was made during the 262nd Corps Commanders’ Conference, which was presided over by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and held in Rawalpindi.

The Army Chief addressed the forum, stating that Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty are untouchable and sacred.

He stated that although Pakistan is in favour of peaceful coexistence with other states, the nation’s sovereignty, honour, and ambitions would never be compromised.

The Forum received a briefing on the ruthless Indian campaign of extraterritorial and extrajudicial executions, which continue to target Pakistani civilians and support state-sponsored terrorism.

The Forum underlined its unwavering support for Palestine and the Gazanian people while pointing out the conflict’s severely detrimental effects and its propensity to spread throughout the whole region.

The deployment of the Pakistan Army to support the Pakistani Election Commission in organising a peaceful general election in 2024 was another topic of discussion during the forum.

The Pakistan Army will carry out its assigned tasks in accordance with the Constitution’s mandate and the Election Commission’s directives.

The Conference recognised and applauded the actions taken against a variety of illicit activities and criminal organisations, such as power theft, hoarding, smuggling, and illegal immigration.

The Forum was briefed on the formations’ operational readiness.

The chief of staff of the Army instructed formation commanders to keep their attention on troop morale, training, and management.

In addition, the Forum honoured the men and officers of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and the people who gave their lives to maintain peace and stability in the nation for the highest sacrifices of Martyrs.
