Budget 2025: June 5th “summoning” of the NA session

The NA budget session will begin on June 5 at 5:00 p.m., and on June 7, the house is expected to hear a presentation of the budget for 2025.

The Finance Bill 2025 will be presented by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to the house, and the budget debate is scheduled to start on June 10, according to the sources.

The initial estimate for subsidies is Rs 1,500 billion, while the initial estimate for interest and loan expenses is Rs 9,700 billion, according to sources.

It is estimated that taxes will bring in over Rs 11,000 billion, of which Rs 5,300 billion will come from direct taxes and Rs 680 billion from federal excise duties, according to sources.

According to sources, sales tax is anticipated to bring in over Rs 3,850 billion, while customs duties are predicted to bring in over Rs 1,100 billion.
