Alleged Pakistani hackers target Indian govt website

According to the Indian media outlet, hackers targeted website of income tax department.

“Pak Cyber Thunders. Hacked by Pak MOnster! Shame on your security. Your site is hacked because of your high security! Pakistan Zindabad,” read the website.

Messages displayed on the website claimed that the hackers hailed from Pakistan. This is not the first time that Indian income tax department’s website was hacked as hackers had targeted it in February last year previously.

Before that, National Security Guard website was hacked allegedly by Pakistani hackers in January 2017.

‘Cyber war’ between the arch-rivals has been ongoing for quite some time. Indians had earlier hacked a portal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and a website of district government in Lahore.
