The team additionally conveyed their desire to engage in several sectors of Pakistan’s economy, particularly manufacturing, transportation, energy, agriculture, and livestock.

Welcoming the delegation, the president said that Pakistan and China shared commonalities of interest and views on important issues, besides enjoying deep-rooted and historic brotherly ties.

Pakistan and China have been good allies for decades, according to Asif Ali Zardari, and he had the idea to turn Gwadar Port into a regional centre for trade and business that would increase regional cooperation and connectivity.

Pakistan will welcome Chinese investors and would like to conduct business with China, the president stated.

According to him, Pakistan is dedicated to providing Chinese investors with all the assistance and support they require.

In an effort to improve the people-to-people and cultural ties between Pakistan and China, the president emphasised that Chinese language classes had been implemented in Sindh.

The conference was also attended by Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, and provincial ministers.
