After a massive operation in Islamabad late last night, the demonstrators have left important areas like Blue Area and D-Chowk. Since many of the demonstrators have driven back to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the cars that had been obstructing roads and highways are no longer visible.

Additionally, traffic on the Express Highway, which was formerly a major source of congestion due to protests, has subsided.

Now that the roads and streets are clear of obstructions, cleanup efforts are in progress, especially along Jinnah Avenue, the Express Highway, and the Srinagar Highway, which were covered in trash during the demonstrations.

After being badly disrupted by the protests, motorway traffic has also returned to normal. The reopening of numerous important routes was confirmed by motorway police spokespeople, including:

Traffic is currently moving again on the M1 Motorway, which was briefly closed between Peshawar and Islamabad.
The M2 Motorway has reopened, connecting Islamabad and Lahore.
Vehicle traffic on the M11 Motorway, which connects Lahore and Sialkot, has completely recovered.
Access to the M4 Motorway from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem is once again available.
Additionally, the M14 Motorway, which connects Hakla and Dera Ismail Khan, has reopened.
M3 Motorway, which had previously been closed, is also open for traffic.
