Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has praised the Beijing declaration, which includes a consensus among major Palestinian factions to unite and form an Interim Unity Government.

For reaching this important diplomatic milestone, the Prime Minister singled out the People’s Republic of China for praise. The prime minister said that the Palestinian people have experienced long-term poverty and suffering in a message posted on his official X account.

A deal, according to the prime minister, gives rise to optimism for a long-lasting peace. He asked Israel to stop its violent activities, which have destroyed Gaza and killed around 40,000 innocent Palestinians over the past ten months, and he called for international solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The Prime Minister restated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and its demand for a two-state solution that would create an independent Palestinian state with borders that date back to 1967 and Al Quds as its capital.

He underlined the necessity of a cohesive and powerful voice promoting peace, justice, and statehood, stressing the significance of unity amongst Palestinian factions. Pakistan supports the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
